Volunteering

Some of the many opportunities I have taken to interact with the community and leave it a better place than I have found it!

Homebuilds

As a member of the LJHS interact club, I have had the privilege of helping with 8 Tijuana home builds since Freshman year. Working with Project Mercy Baja, the program strives to bring homes to families in need in Mexico

Donation Drives

As the president of the LJHS Interact Club, I have organized and participated in many donation drives. During the LA Wildfires of 2024, the club donated thousands of necessities to impacted communities. The club also worked to bring unwanted fair toys to the children's hospital in Tijuana. These two drives are among the many that I have supported to set up for the club.

Beach Cleanups

Beyond helping the greater community, I also believe in giving back to my own community. With San Diego being know for it's beautiful beaches, I have organized many beach cleanups to help keep it's shores clean.

Our two week long summer program to teach K-12 students at a local Tijuana school the value of speech and debate. The first week focused on building English speaking skills and the second taught them debate, even leading to a fun debate between the students at the end of the camp!

English Tutoring

Part of the unique Speech & Debate Club I founded through IvyMax, the program strives to bring empowerment through language

to kids not only across the county, but across borders and to Tijuana.

From summer camps to weekly meetings, our team works to

teach ESL students public speaking skills whether it be through

zoom or in person!
