"Exploring the Life Cycle of Crepidula Atrasolea"

During the summer of 2024, I was given the incredible opportunity to intern at the Scripps Institute of Oceanography with the Lyons lab studying the development of slipper snails, or Crepidula Atrasolea. My unique project was to stage the life cycle of the Crepidula embryo, which is an essential part to studying and researching embryonic development. The paper I wrote details my experiences in the lab as well as my results and findings from my study.

"The Complex Role of Neuromodulatory Sensors in the Social Transfer of Pain"

During the summer of 2024 and the summer of 2025, I interned at the Stanford Bass Biology Research Building under the Chen Lab. Continuing my research into 2025, I worked with researchers to explore how different neuro-modulatory inputs were responsible for the activation of the social transfer of pain.

"The Effects of Social Media on the Obsession with Supplementation"

As a part of my AP Research class in the 2024-2025 school year, I chose to study the effects of social media on the usage of anabolic androgenic steroids, specifically among high school students. As someone who is very physically active, I chose this research project as it was something that I saw personally affect people around me.
