Founder and President of Speech and Debate Club

Founded and still currently runs the speech and debate club that promotes developing speaking and communication skills for current students and younger children. 

 

Founder and Co-President of La Jolla High School Nutrition for Athletes 

AUGUST 2023 - PRESENT

A club founded at La Jolla High School which focuses on bringing awareness to nutritional eating among student athletes. Using fundraising and donations, the club strives to give filling and nutritious snacks to their own students. 

 

President of La Jolla High School Interact Club 

FEBRUARY 2023 - PRESENT

The Interact Club focuses on building houses for those in need down in Tijuana. Along with building homes, they also focus on giving donations and support to such families.

A student teacher led association that focuses on bringing confidence to students when navigating through the college application processes. By setting up discussion panels and school events, the initiative works to best prepare students on their education journey.

 

San Diego Rowing Club Learn to Row Camp Counselor

SUMMER 2025

An unpaid volunteer camp counselor at my local rowing club. Practiced rowing every morning from 6 - 8 AM then volunteered 9-11 AM to encourage young and interested potential rowers to join the sport.

Link crew leader at both Muirlands Middle School and La Jolla High School. Help new students navigate around the school and get comfortable at both schools. Also helps hand out schedules and set up for back to school and end of school events.

SUMMER 2024
Studied embryonic development of slipper snails. Maintained snail colony. First author of paper based on a graphic timeline of my design, combining art and science.

Intern at Stanford University Chen Lab
SUMMER 2024 - 2025
Assisted Chen's research on the social transfer of pain. Oversaw mouse colony and brain samples for imaging. Focused my paper on human implications. Paper published in Journal of Qualitative and Quantitative Research.
